Terms and conditions
These are the terms for using Bliep: the app, the web pages at hallobliep.nl and everything they connect to. Please read them before you sign in; by signing in you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Bliep is made and run by Interval Labs BV, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 42139840, at Herengracht 551, Amsterdam. You can reach us at hello@intervallabs.nl. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person using Bliep.
2. What Bliep is
Bliep is a small device a child carries, with an app and a website for the parents. Today the app and the website hold your account: you sign in, and you see and manage the phones and browsers you are signed in on.
3. Your account
- You sign in with your Apple account. We do not keep a password for you.
- You must be at least 16 years old to have an account.
- Your account is yours alone. Keep your devices secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You can delete your account and everything in it in the app. If you cannot get to it, write to hello@intervallabs.nl and we will do it.
4. Changing your mind
You have 14 days after you sign in to withdraw from this agreement, without giving a reason. You will rarely need them: delete your account whenever you like and the agreement ends with it.
5. Fair use
Use Bliep as it is meant to be used. Do not use it to break the law, to harass or deceive anyone, to get into accounts or data that are not yours, to copy the service or its data in bulk, or to disrupt it. If you do, we may suspend or close your account. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us or it would make matters worse.
6. Availability and changes
We do our best to keep Bliep running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change Bliep, add and remove features, and we may stop offering it. If we stop, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead.
7. Liability
We provide Bliep as it is. We are always liable for death or personal injury we cause, and for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence; nothing here limits that. For other damage arising from your use of Bliep, or from being unable to use it, we are not liable, as far as Dutch law allows. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer law.
8. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is set out in our privacy policy. It is part of these terms.
9. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, we will let you know at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email or in the app. If you keep using Bliep after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree with them, delete your account.
10. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you live in another country of the European Union, the consumer protection rules of that country that cannot be waived still apply to you. Should we have a dispute, we will first try to resolve it between us. If that fails, you can take it either to the court where you live or to the Dutch court, and we can take it only to the court where you live.
